This is a blog about my interests, which range from Music to Sports, Books to elementary Politics and Movies to "Why do I exist?" philosophical BS. I will also be posting random short story ideas. I will appreciate it very much if you could take the time to read. Thanks.
The title "Real Live Version" is stolen from a Voxtrot song.
I am:
A 20 year old music/movie/book dork who roots unconditionally for all Philly sports teams. I am hopelessly opinionated in all things that require an opinion but all I reallly want is to have interesting discussions. If you tell me I'm wrong I will love you for being honest with me (even if I still disagree.) I'm painfully shy, socially inept, and naive to a fault but don't think I'm painting the portrait of a tortured artist. I have a wonderful family, truly invaluable friends, and no matter how many years go by without a championship I'll never stop believing.
"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new." - Anton Ego (and yes he's the food critic from Ratatouille)
